a variety of Martial Arts styles including Hapkido, Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing,
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kali, Kobudo, Wing Chun and weapons all of which provide
our students with a well-balanced, "street smart" self-defense system. Most
other styles of martial arts tend to focus on just individual areas of

students the advantage they need to protect themselves in virtually any
situation.

be in control of your mind, body and emotions with the intent, direction and
skill to "take care of business". Never be a victim learn highly effective and
powerful self-defense skills that will protect yourself, family and friends. All
this in a fun, friendly environment that will also improve your flexibility,
endurance, and physical vigor!

Our program is a total fitness package combining strength, endurance and
flexibility. We incorporate the latest exercise physiology, which assists in the
development of all your muscular systems, building greater strength and
definition. We give you excellent cardiovascular conditioning, expanding your
heart and lung's capacity while you burn off calories. The result is a
tremendous increase in energy, giving you what you need to last all day long.

Just about any workout will give you some kind of results, if you do it
consistently. Some of us however, find that "doing it consistently", even a ten
minute workout, can seem like an eternity. At TKC, we provide a fun, safe and
exciting environment that makes consistency a joy... and gets you into the best

Obvious and hidden benefits...
that's what the long-term study of the martial arts
offers you. Like an onion, there are many layers of
practice, of understanding, of self-exploration;
many layers of benefits that only reveal themselves
through consistent and regular practice.
Obviously, training makes your body function better,
look better, and feel better. Behind the obvious is the
neurological and psychological benefits; your brain works
better, your emotional control improves, as does your
connection to people with similar motivations and interests.
Obviously, studying the martial arts helps you sharpen
the physical tools of personal protection. The person
who has practiced 10,000 blocks and 10,000 counter-attacks
has an edge in any physical conflict. But less than
obvious is the way that the practice protects you from
some of the most dangerous enemies in today's world:
lethargy, negative thinking, lack of adequate exercise,
apathy, indifference, anger, and stress.
"Throughout my day I am charged. I'm charged with
the responsibility of earning income, of service to others,
of what I must do tomorrow, and the management of
what feels like a thousand responsibilities. When I get
on the mat, I feel a release of that 'charge,' I get
grounded, and the complexity of the world disappears.
I'd say my time studying the martial arts is some of
the best time I invest in myself."
--Ed Pullin, age 37, three years of martial arts training
In Dicken's famous novel, A Christmas Carol, Ebenezer
Scrooge is taken into his future -and as a result he
comes back to the present with a compelling need to
wake up and change. If you could venture into the
future and see the benefits that await you from the
study of the martial arts, you would come back today
and enroll in the longest program we offer.
Better health, fitness, mental and emotional clarity,
and many, many friendships and experiences await you.

TKC is a very family friendly, pro-people, warm and inviting martial arts studio. Everyone is welcome regardless of their background, physical abilities, ethnicity, preferences or otherwise. Every time I train at TKC feels like a gift - I've never been anywhere that feels like "home" the minute I walk through the door every single time. Master Fariborz has created an environment where not only are fantastic martial artists are produced but, empowered, responsible, loyal contributors to society as well.

TKC has been such a wonderful place for me to learn and grow, not just as a martial artist but as a person. The mind body spirit connection is in full bloom here. I've met such warm and wonderful people and studied with some of the world's greatest martial artist. The guest instructors and seminars are amazing, and within the course of an average week, the variety of classes offered by TKC staff offers so much diversity of technique! It is the only studio I know where I can learn so many different styles all under one roof. And while the technical training is outstanding, the emphasis is always on peace. That's like a zen koan I am still trying to understand, but it's true: all these fighters are the most loving people! I am so grateful to have discovered TKC, and I don't know if I would have continued in this art if I had gone to any other school. The personal attention, the vibrant community and the excellent training altogether make this a truly special school.

This has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. The more time I spend here, the more impressed I am with what Mr. Fariborz has created and the people he has surrounded himself with. I only wish I had done something like this when I was younger.
I look forward to continuing my journey with you.
