I have wanted to participate in martial arts since I was a little girl. My mother on the other hand, was fearful that I would use what I learned negatively against my younger sister. What my mother failed to realize was that martial arts would have taught me to treat my sister in a positive manner and would have spared her a few bumps and bruises.
As I continued through life the passion to learn martial arts never died. Finally in 2003 I took action and asked a friend to help me locate a studio. Lucky for me my friend knew just the place. She introduced me to Team Karate Centers, the studio where she had earned her black belt. Looking back now I had no idea how lucky I would be finding a studio like TKC. I am very honored to have earned my black belt through Mr. Fariborz. I have come to understand that having a Master Instructor that is both a wonderful instructor and technically superior, is very rare.
Like most young adults I struggled with issues in my early twenties. Martial arts added strength to my foundation and the confidence to achieve anything that I desire. In 2005 I earned my Emergency Medical Technicians license and worked on an ambulance for 8 months. Through that experience my desire to help people as grown. Teaching martial arts is a wonderful experience in which I have been able to help others achieve their dream of becoming a Black Belt Champion.
